Longest Snowmobile Bridge in World in West Carleton

Dr. Merrilee Fullerton, MPP for Kanata-Carleton was pleased to take part in the official opening of the longest snowmobile bridge in the world, stretching across the Ottawa River and linking West Carleton to Quebec.  The West Carleton Snowmobile Trails Association received funding from the federal and provincial governments to go towards their project of rehabilitating the inter-provincial rail bridge just east of Galetta.

Province Providing Supports for Small Businesses and Workers

Province Gives $38.5 Million Boost to Public Transit in City of Ottawa

The Ontario government is providing $38,490,012 to support the expansion and improvement of public transit services in the City of Ottawa. The funding is part of the province’s Gas Tax program which will allocate $375.6 million this year to 107 municipalities that deliver public transit. 

MPP Fullerton reaches out to local business associations

In the past few days, MPP Fullerton has met with the Kanata Central BIA, Kanata North Business Association, Ottawa Board of Trade, and Invest Ottawa. The MPP for Kanata and West Carleton intends to still meet with other local business associations over the coming days.
